Surreal Mongol

I can’t be certain, but it looks as if a young Salvador Dalí (1937) might be using an Eberhard Faber Mongol for sketching Harpo:

    That’s gotta be a Mongol. Notice also the box with the crosses — gauze bandages?

      Yes, apparently Dalí had sent this harp—covered in spoons and with strings made of barbed wire—to Harpo as a gift. That’s why his fingers are all bandaged.
